George first became interested in home building as a teenager. Working as a union carpenter until 1989, George decided to get back to his love of building homes and started his own construction company. The first home George built was a speculative home that sold before the drywall went on. In 1992, the company received the “Hancock County Builder of the Year” award.
“This was especially meaningful for us,” George says, “because this was a vote of confidence from our peers – other builders from the Builders Association.”

Before, during and after construction we test all of our homes with an independent testing company to make sure our homes are energy efficient. Did you know that most new homes have between 8-12 air changes per hour? We're proud to say that all of ours are between 1 to 3. Quite a difference in comfort and expense!
